On Wednesday, December 11, we had the opportunity to open up our studios for the public to see. It was my last day in the studio–my paintings needed to dry a bit before I packed them away. Studio time is always precious, but it felt especially so with my looming departure. I’m still processing through what it means to be coming and going after such a short time, which will probably be one more essay as part of this project.
Thanks to everyone who came for open studios and for all the feedback on my work. And thank you to the Banff Centre and all my friends there for such a wonderful opportunity.
